The conference begun on Sunday the 22nd of May and ended on Thursday the 26th of May. The purpose of the conference was to share experiences of various cooperation models and develop the strategies that steer policing. The Chiefs of Police of Europe’s capital cities agreed on co-operation in combating cross-border organised crime. Read more Lainvalvojat Lainvalvojat, a documentary series set in the Helsinki Police Department, was shown on SubTV at last autumn. The series portrays the work of such units as crime investigation, patrol police and the canine police. There will also be unique footage showing the Karhu Team in helicopter and sharpshooting training. The opening episode attracted more than 400,000 viewers.
