In accordance with stated tasks, the Provincial Police Command
determines the strategies of the provincial police force reconfirms the intended results of the local police in the province and draws up agreements regarding these results makes decisions regarding the co-operation between the local police and national police units (including the central criminal investigation police, mobile police and security police units). allocates funds to local police units provides information and analyses makes notifications supervises the training, work capabilities and condition of the provincial police force personnel monitors the legality of local police activities determines leadership responsibilities for local police operations and recruits local police chiefs maintains and manages connections between interest groups, also on international levels settles complaints made regarding the actions of the police grants operation permits for non-commercial shooting ranges, security businesses, private detectives, lost property offices, and issues statements regarding municipal ordinances
